Owing to the Honourable Supreme Court's ruling of May 2016, the only entrance exam valid for MBBS & BDS admissions in India shall be AIPMT(NEET-I) and NEET-II.  Subsequent to the ruling, the Government of India promulgated an ordinance which allowed state governments to conduct state level entrance exams for admissions to MBBS & BDS programs.  In light of these developments, many of the entrance exams have been cancelled or rescheduled.  Shown below are the current status of various medical entrance exams:
